I started taking software apart before anyone was paying me to put it back together. That habit is still the job: understand the thing completely, then rebuild it so it performs.
Self-taught first, formalised second - which means I learned to ship before I learned the vocabulary for it. Front-end is my specialisation: React, Next.js and Astro over headless CMS back-ends, with the performance and SEO work that decides whether any of it earns its keep.
Based in Cancun, working with clients here and abroad. I write the back end too, because a front end that cannot be fed is a mockup.

Understand it before you touch it
Most rewrites are misdiagnoses. I read what already exists, find where it actually loses people, and fix that - which is usually cheaper and always faster than starting over.
Speed is a feature, not a chore
Core Web Vitals are the part of a build a client can feel without being told. I treat the performance budget as a requirement, not a cleanup pass at the end.
Hand over something you can run
Every site ships on a CMS the owner can actually edit. If you need me to change a headline, the handover failed.

Full-stack apps for external clients and internal platforms - an HR workload-management system and a job-board application - shipped with Docker and Nixpacks CI/CD.
Led the WooCommerce storefront and internal React projects (Next.js, Astro, Vite) - custom themes, SAP-tied data, and organic growth through technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.
Service-oriented .NET REST API with auth and permission validation, consumed by an Angular front end with routing and middleware.
Architected a multi-tenant insurance-administration SaaS on Strapi 5 and Next.js, and deliver client sites through Cafeína Digital - technical SEO, performance, and deployment included.
